Charles Taylor: You write something online, and three or four years later you get people who have found it and write to you about it.
Letts: Yeah, well, I’ve read them. I read it all. I’m shameless. I read everything.
Taylor: That’s a real problem. That scares the hell out of me.
Letts: We come back to that issue of control, right?

Letts: Hell, it’s up there on the screen.
Taylor: The facts are different.
Letts: I don’t know. I hope I don’t.
Taylor: Yeah, I do. There were a lot of layoffs.

Letts: I lost some of those fights and I won some.
Taylor: I was never excommunicated.
Letts: I mean, I’ve been sober for over 20 years, and I’m a subscriber of AA and its philosophies.
Taylor: If you’re honest about what your response is, you’re serving your reader whether they agree with you or not.
Letts: Absolutely. (Laughs) That’s not true.
