Van Dyke Parks: It was foolish to expect an audience to put it all together.
Lindo: On some level we’re everything and everywhere. Does that make sense?
Parks: I’m just not so happy about the corporate reality we live in.
Lindo: Absolutely, because there are always those who are trying to constrain, restrain, suppress.

Lindo: I’m not quite sure why you’re saying that.
Parks: It’s a habit of mine. I don’t know.

Parks: So many people think back then everything was about the dope. That’s why, I’m sorry to say, I had to turn to the issue of greed.
Lindo: That’s profound, that’s right.
