Krzysztof Kieślowski: I didn’t realize it, but it suddenly dawned on me: I’ve run out of patience.

Lil Uzi Vert: But I guarantee that outfit is on hundreds of mood boards.

Kieślowski: Sometimes you have to laugh, but I think it’s worth trying to be serious from time to time.

Vert: It's times when I catch myself nowadays talking to someone, and they'll think I'm being sarcastic, and I’m being serious.

•••

Kieślowski: I don’t know what happened to us.

Vert: I don't even really know. (Laughs) I told you when this all happened, I was in outer space.

Kieślowski: You could see it that way.

•••

Vert: You probably lied 15 times already today.

Kieślowski: Yes. Because it makes everything more interesting. But the financial side of it hasn’t been sorted out yet; I hope they won’t find the money, so I won’t be obliged to do it.

Vert: You got to just flow. You feel what I'm saying? I just be doing anything, and sometimes it works, sometimes it don’t. Sometimes it comes with the territory.

Kieślowski: For sure. The production company helped us decide where to shoot, but nobody forced us.

Vert: I have a $65 million penthouse.

•••

Kieślowski: There are many books I haven’t read. Or books that I’ve read four times and want to read three times more.

Vert: And I wake up every day and I'm brushing my teeth live, and I'm running on a hamster wheel.

Kieślowski: What you say is evident, but I don’t think it’s just.
