Spoken language and the written word are under attack. They’re the necessary forms to communicate and convey ideas into information. Thoughts become words in conversation and writing. Verbal sounds and written words translate into descriptive meanings interpreted and understood. Or misunderstood. You may not agree with the sentiments said or written, but it’s the only way to express feelings, concepts, emotions, and ideas. The basis of all human experience. Everyone knows the facts, but some are trying to manipulate the language. To express observations of the world around us with people, places, and things that formulate ideas we experience to understand and function like a computer system. They’re the metaphors that allow you to form and understand the meaning of the message in context to the information conveyed by communication. Some people have no sense about the power of words.
The embarrassing alleged gang of benevolent bully soapbox thieves is currently censoring everything they can. Corrupt government gangsters and Christian nationalists recently concocted a list of suspiciously random words struck from the English language. Blatant censorship isn’t novel. The free speech contained in written amendments and documents isn’t free. Claiming to protect Americans based on a fabricated falsehood narrative, otherwise known as bold face lies or Project 2025. Denouncing a perceived woke movement against the morality of right-wing values and extreme evangelical views. Words they find offensive. It’s only words thrown around willy-nilly in alphabetical order.
There’s no denying the lack of coherent logic involved. Leftover personal interpretations by the media, talking-head puppet masters convey to sway public opinion. Manipulated within this divisive framework that demolishes our splintered society. The new administration claims it champions free speech and transparency. Yet it’s erasing any words believed to be offensive to the political Christian nationalist agenda. Forcefully removing any history believed to include all against the delicate psyche dropped and devoid of their dangerous twisted delusions.
The target list includes hundreds of words in a jumbled vortex of basic, random vocabulary tumbling around in their empty heads. Some surreal samples of words included in this absurd, abstract compilation are laughable if they weren’t so sad. Culled from a New York Times article, “These Words Are Disappearing in the New Trump Administration,” here are some examples: Activism, affirming care, anti-racism, bias, breastfeeding, clean energy, climate crisis, cultural heritage, DEI, disability, discrimination, diversity, equal opportunity, ethnicity, feminism, gender, hate speech, historically, inclusive, indigenous people, inequality, LBGTQ, mental health, minorities, Native Americans, oppression, political, racial injustice, segregation, socioeconomic, stereotypes, transgender, underprivileged, victims, vulnerable populations, women.
This is censorship at its worst. It reinforces the notion that there are individuals in this country and abroad who share common racist beliefs. They’ll stop at nothing to further a hateful ideology. They should be held accountable and charged for their crimes against humanity.
A new list of buzzwords should be added to the patois of white nationalist censorship. Words that will make it impossible to question the legitimacy of truth and justice because it is represented in the Constitution and Bill of Rights. It can’t be erased from history. Words like: blatant assholism, alternative facts, religious politics, domestic terrorists, extreme left wing radical lunatics, compulsive liars, bullshit con artists, conspiracy nut jobs, misogynistic idiots, Nazi sympathizers, race baiting bigots, ignorant, prejudice, extreme bigotry, radical racism, rewriting history, rejecting the rule of law, ignoring science, dismissing facts, dismantling government, fraud, hypocrisy, hatred, dishonesty, discrimination, division, disloyalty, disenfranchisement, deception, deceit, arrogance, willful ignorance, contempt, negligence, disrespect, authoritarian rule, blind allegiance, betrayal, etc.
There aren’t enough words to describe what’s happening. No way to express the feelings that we’ve been cheated. Every day the world moves closer to the truth. The endgame is coming. The catchphrases are piling up on top of their beady heads. Words cannot describe how utterly weak they are. Raging anger mounts against the stupidity. There aren’t enough words in any language for that.
